The Food Magicians’ Spell Book Launch Event
At Barbican Children’s Library
Wednesday 29th October 2008
On Wednesday the 29th of October, the Barbican Children’s Library will be transformed into a magical haven for little cooks. Children between the ages of five and twelve years old are invited to take part in workshops, where they have the chance to put the spells into practice and create tasty dishes whilst having fun and working as a team.
And of course, sample their magical creations!
The author of the book, Catherine Warrington, will be present for book signing and to read compelling extracts throughout the day. There will also be plenty of other activities including feely food boxes, design your own Food Magician and coloring competitions to make the day with the Food Magicians a memorable and magical one.

Places are limited to 15 children per workshop.
